Oh my...how they grow so fast... =(

Las Vegas

Just got back from our Las Vegas trip...

Good trip... Same 'Ol story... lost money playing blackjack...won a little on the slots...ate a whole lot..drank and had a good time.

I went there with full intentions to capture some photos of the nightlife...but for some reason..I had major photographer's block..no joke...

With all the billion lights and architecture in the city...I could not get myself to take any meaningful photos... sad =( I think the slot machines, free drinks, and blackjack table may have had something to do with my blockage as well =)

Funny enough...the very few photos that I did take were kinda cool!

Betty and I happened to run into Jermaine O'Neal from the Indiana Pacers !!! That was the coolest!!

Dude...homeboy is freakin' tall!! I didn't recognize him at first...but as soon as I saw his height and face...I knew it was him... Nobody was around him at first (other than a buddy of his)...but as soon as I was worked up and talking to Betty about it...people started noticing...

I got my photo taken with him...although the focus is off (ahem!!! Betty!)



I tried sharpening as best I could, but it is just too out of focus to salvage.. I know, I know...It looks like a cardboard fake of Jermaine O'Neal, but as you can see from the next photo...he was very much real..



I was so starstruck that I was fumbling around with my camera trying to get the correct lens on just to take the photo.. So sad I didn't have me Canon 420EX external flash with me =( P.S. BTW...Betty is a good 5'7", and I am 5'10"... He is TALL!!
