4th of July

Me, Betty, and Mary went to the Foster City fireworks festival with the kids on the 4th of July. There's nothing better than staking out a spot on the grass with a family sized bucket of KFC and piggin out, waiting for the fireworks to start =)

2 Lessons from the day:

1. fireworks scare young children...
2. fireworks are best seen from a distance (2-3 miles away), since they are shot overhead, and can be seen from a distance... It makes for
far better photos, and the kids wont be startled =)
